Hello all! For those of you who don't know me yet, I am the founder/creator of the IMPACT PROJECT. I am so excited to have you all be a part of this community and movement.
A little bit about me! I started working in partnership with MONAT in April of 2018 as a first year university student in Ottawa, Canada. I was unsure of my goals but I knew I wanted something different. I have always been a heavy spender and a lover of retail therapy - however being a student did not allow me to have the finances to support my lifestyle. I started my market partner position part time in hopes for a bit of money here and there to splurge with. However, I soon learned that this organization was much more than that.
Not only did I grow my business rapidly over the span of 3 months, I was able to afford to travel (not to mention make money while doing so), to make my own schedule, spend time with friends and family, treat myself and become a better person. Even better, I was introduced to the most amazing community of people. Some of which I now consider my best friends. This job has become my passion - so much has changed in my life. I went from being someone who was constantly putting myself down and doubting my worth to someone who is passionate about lifting others up, creating HUGE goals and believing in myself. I am confident and excited about what I do on a daily basis - which is why I wanted to create the Impact Project to create the same positive environment and community for those like minded to myself.

I joined Monat because I needed a change! I was tired of relying on osap and then at the end of each semester running out of money. I never wanted to try to balance a job with school because I’m someone whose easily anxious, I already stress enough as it is. That’s why when I saw the opportunity to work from home when I wanted, it didn’t take much for me to say yes. All I thought was I have nothing lose... and I’m so glad I did it. I’m so glad I’m not still on the sidelines wondering what if. I’ve gained so much from this company not only financially but personally, emotionally, mentally. I’m so excited to eventually make this full time, pay off all my debt, and travel as much as I want to . And I’m so excited to help my team achieve their dreams too ❤️"
